Why does Trump support Infantino?
Donald Trump has promised 'absolute support' for FIFA president Gianni Infantino. This backing reportedly stems from Trump's appreciation for Infantino's successful management of a recent football tournament held in America. This support comes despite English football chiefs withdrawing their backing for Infantino due to a controversial sell-off plan.
