Who helps in a disaster?
When a disaster like the Nepal-Tibet floods strikes, governments often request international assistance, as Nepal has done for specialised help. This can include search and rescue teams, medical aid, logistical support, and forensic analysis to identify victims. Neighbouring countries and international organisations typically coordinate efforts to provide the most effective and timely response.
