When is the next council election?

Local council seats, like the one in Worksop East, are typically held for a four-year term. Since Nancy Wright won a by-election, she will serve until the next scheduled local elections for Bassetlaw District Council. These usually take place in May, with the next full council election likely in 2027 or 2028.
