Stoppage time, also known as injury time, is extra time added at the end of each half in football to compensate for delays during the game. These delays can be due to injuries, substitutions, or goal celebrations. Maitland-Niles's equaliser in stoppage time made his debut goal even more thrilling and impactful for Everton.
