What's a semi-final?
In knockout tournaments like the World Cup, a semi-final is the penultimate round. Four teams remain, and the winners of these two matches progress to the final, while the losers are eliminated. France's win against Morocco secured their spot in the semi-finals, where they'll face either Spain or Belgium, just one step away from the grand final.
