What is 'top-flight experience'?
'Top-flight experience' refers to playing in the highest professional football league in a country, like the Premier League in England or the Bundesliga in Germany. Felix Keidel has limited top-flight experience, making his potential call-up to the German national team quite a surprise, as coaches usually favour players with proven ability at the elite level.
