What is ticket touting?

Ticket touting is when someone buys tickets for an event and then resells them at a higher price, often for profit. It's usually frowned upon by clubs and event organisers, and sometimes illegal, as it can make events unaffordable for regular fans. The Manchester United fans are protesting bans they say were unfair, possibly linked to touting accusations.
