What is the Darts World Series?

The Darts World Series is a global circuit of tournaments run by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). It brings top players to different countries, often to places where darts isn't as established, to promote the sport. Gerwyn Price's victory against Jim Long was part of the Finals event in Amsterdam, bringing together the best performers from the year's series.
