What is the circular economy?

Ikea's new platform is a great example of the circular economy in action. This idea focuses on reducing waste and making the most of resources by keeping products and materials in use for as long as possible. Instead of buying new and throwing away old, it encourages repairing, reusing and recycling to benefit both the environment and our wallets.
