What is AI weather forecasting?

AI weather forecasting uses machine learning to analyse vast amounts of data, like satellite images and sensor readings, to predict future weather. Unlike traditional methods that rely on complex physics equations, AI identifies patterns and makes predictions based on what it's learned. The Met Office already uses AI to enhance its forecasts, aiming for greater accuracy.
