What is a transfer rumour?
A transfer rumour is speculation about a footballer moving from one club to another. These often appear in the media, especially during transfer windows. In this story, the talk about Victor Osimhen joining Chelsea or Manchester United is a classic example. Rumours can be based on genuine interest, agent leaks, or simply media speculation to generate interest.
