What is a 'home advantage'?

'Home advantage' is when a team playing on their own ground seems to perform better. This can be due to factors like crowd support, familiarity with the pitch, or even less travel fatigue. In the story, Egypt's manager might feel these advantages were unfairly negated by refereeing decisions, despite playing in a neutral venue.
