Explained in plain English

What is a field of view?

The field of view (FOV) in AR glasses, such as the 51-degree FOV in Snap's Specs, describes the extent of the visible world that the digital display covers. A wider FOV means a more immersive experience, as the virtual elements appear larger and more integrated into your natural vision, much like a big cinema screen.
