What is a digital passenger card?

A digital passenger card is an electronic version of the paper arrival card that travellers traditionally fill out when entering Australia. It collects the same essential information but in a digital format, streamlining the process and potentially reducing errors. The Albanese government is introducing this system to modernise border control.
