What is a bishop's role?
A bishop is a senior member of the clergy in many Christian churches, responsible for a diocese (a specific geographical area). In this story, the local bishop expressed the community's feeling of 'helplessness' after the crash. Bishops often play a pastoral role, offering comfort and guidance during times of tragedy or community distress.
