Explained in plain English
What does a football manager do?
A football manager, like Iraola at Liverpool, is in charge of almost everything on the pitch. They pick the team, decide tactics, and motivate the players. Off the pitch, they often have a big say in which new players are bought and sold, and how the club's youth teams develop.
