What are measles symptoms?

Measles is a highly contagious viral infection that typically starts with a high fever, cough, runny nose, and red, watery eyes. A characteristic rash then appears, usually starting on the face and spreading downwards. While often mild, measles can lead to serious complications, including pneumonia and brain inflammation, which explains why the Pennsylvania deaths are so concerning.
