What are mandatory breaks?

Truck drivers in the Netherlands, like in many countries, are legally required to take regular breaks to prevent fatigue and ensure road safety. These breaks often involve stopping at designated areas, sometimes overnight, which can unfortunately make their vehicles vulnerable targets for theft, as happened with the Diana book shipment.
