What are 'experimental features'?

Experimental features are new functions or designs that tech companies test with a small group of users before a wider release. It helps them gather feedback and fix bugs. The 'Expand everything' feature in the Play Store is a good example, as it's only available to 'some users' and can be turned on or off in 'Play Labs settings'.
