How do teams reach the Premier League?
The Premier League is England's top football division. Teams get there by being promoted from the Championship, the league below it. The top two Championship teams automatically go up, and a third spot is decided by play-offs between teams finishing 3rd to 6th. This system keeps the league fresh.
