Can cancer spread?

Yes, cancer cells can break away from the original tumour and travel through the bloodstream or lymphatic system to other parts of the body. This is called metastasis. In Biden's case, his prostate cancer has unfortunately spread beyond his bones, making it much more serious and difficult to treat effectively.
