The race for London Mayor in 2028 is heating up, with several candidates announcing their intention to run against Sadiq Khan. Former home secretary James Cleverly will seek to be the Conservative candidate, while Reform UK's Laila Cunningham is also campaigning. A recent poll puts Labour's candidate on 33%, with the Tories and Reform UK both on 18%.
