Iran claims missile strike on US base; Jordan intercepts eight
People across the region face rising military tension after reported missile exchanges involving Jordan and United States facilities. Iranian state media said the Revolutionary Guard fired ten ballistic missiles at 2:20pm local time targeting a US air base in Al-Azraq and a command and control centre in West Asia. Jordan's news agency said eight missiles were shot down earlier there.
