X launches new rewards program for original content creators

X is introducing a new Original Content Rewards Program on September 8, which will supersede its previous system for sharing revenue with creators. To qualify, creators need a Premium subscription, 500 verified followers, and 500,000 recent impressions from verified users. The program is designed to compensate for genuinely original contributions, such as personal analysis or reporting, instead of mere reposts.
