WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg returns as Automattic CEO

WordPress.com's parent company Automattic has confirmed that its founder, Matt Mullenweg, is back as CEO after the board tried to remove him. Mullenweg was put on paid leave earlier this week, but he accused board members of "conspiring" against him on the company's Slack. Automattic stated on Saturday that Mullenweg is now chairman and CEO with the board's full support.
