Woman dies after stabbing in Birmingham hospital
A 34-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a stabbing attack in Birmingham on Friday night. She was taken to hospital with serious neck wounds but succumbed to her injuries. Djeison Rafael, 21, was initially charged with attempted murder and is expected to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday morning. West Midlands Police confirmed that an application will be made to amend the charges to reflect the victim's death.
