Wizz Air drops to a €198.2m loss because of higher jet fuel prices

Even though 21.2 million people flew with the airline, weaker ticket prices erased the €38.4m profit it made last year. Bosses are now shifting their planes out of the Middle East to focus on busy European routes to places like Spain. Company shares fell almost 5% on Thursday as it also confirmed engine issues are keeping 27 aircraft on the ground.
