Why has Thetford seen a third night of disorder?

Norfolk Police flooded Thetford with officers on Thursday, the third night of disorder tied to a house believed to hold asylum seekers. It follows Wednesday's violence, when a crowd struck one officer with a rock and bit another trying to force entry into the property, police said. Two men were arrested, Brian Thompson, 68, charged with possessing an offensive weapon and bailed until 25 August.
