Why fire services requested England's emergency heatwave alerts

Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated that rescue crews specifically requested the warnings because the threat of new blazes is still severe. He travelled to Stourbridge to look at the damage recent incidents have already caused to local houses and communities. During this ongoing heatwave, he urged everyone to be extremely cautious to stop any more outbreaks from starting.
