A new survey of roughly 60 financial analysts has produced the most pessimistic outlook for Japan's currency since 1993. Nearly 95% of the experts polled in early August said government interventions alone cannot permanently reverse the decline. They argue the Bank of Japan, the country's central bank, will have to increase interest rates to create any meaningful impact.
