What blocks old bank systems from turning AI?

Old bank software still runs on core systems built forty years ago, says 10x Banking founder and ex-Barclays chief Antony Jenkins. Jenkins raised 40 million pounds for 10x, led by AshGrove Capital, saying most banks 'want to be an AI bank' but cannot. 10x now powers 10 million live accounts for banks including Westpac and Chase UK, and expects to turn profitable this year.
