Wes Streeting wants NHS bosses to face MPs
Families seeking answers could see senior NHS figures questioned in Parliament after many declined to help a major maternity review. Former health secretary Wes Streeting made the call on Saturday, saying those who would not speak to Donna Ockenden should explain themselves to MPs. Her report found more than 500 mothers and babies suffered potentially avoidable harm or died at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
