Weight-loss jabs cut sick days 45%, free 10m appointments
Weight-loss jabs could reduce individual sick days, significantly easing considerable pressure on the NHS. A UK study of 1,270 NHS patients, given GLP-1 drugs for nine months, found their sickness absence fell by 45%. This research suggests wider access could also free up almost 10 million doctor appointments.
