Wanted man arrested on Salford roof after two-day stand-off

Police arrested a 37-year-old man in Salford who had been sleeping on a roof after a two-day incident. Officers from Greater Manchester Police's tactical unit used a ladder to reach and pull him down from a back porch roof on Saturday. He was wanted for recall to prison and faces charges including criminal damage and assaulting two police officers.
