US strikes 8 Iranian military sites for eighth night.

The latest attacks happened at 11.30pm ET on Saturday, which was 4.30am on Sunday in the UK. US Central Command, the military command overseeing the operation, said it targeted Iranian coastal surveillance, air defence, maritime, missile and drone sites. It also said it struck Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces linked to attacks on US service members in Jordan on 17 July.
