US, Iran trade strikes as truce collapses

A truce intended to conclude a disfavored conflict has failed, as both the US and Iran initiated fresh military assaults. On Saturday, American forces attacked Iranian military installations following a drone strike on a merchant ship within the Strait of Hormuz. Subsequently, Iran's Revolutionary Guard directed missile and drone attacks towards American locations in Kuwait and Bahrain; the US reported no injuries.
