US extends Russian oil waiver despite earlier pledge
Fuel supply pressure may ease for buyers as countries can keep taking Russian oil already loaded on ships for another month. Washington approved the extension on Friday, replacing a 30-day waiver that ended on April 11 after earlier saying it would not renew it. Kirill Dmitriev said the first waiver could free 100 million barrels.
