US expects Iran and Oman to agree on Strait of Hormuz shipping

America believes Iran and Oman are making progress on a deal for the Strait of Hormuz, expecting an agreement soon. A US official said on Friday that commercial shipping without restrictions would be restored, with America then lifting its blockade of Iranian ports. The official also noted that US actions will always be based on Iran keeping its commitments.
