US E-3 Sentry jet destroyed at Saudi air base

An Iranian missile and drone strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia wounded at least 12 US service members, with two seriously injured. Verified images confirmed a US E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft was destroyed, with its tail severed. The attack also damaged several KC-135 refuelling aircraft, marking a significant blow to US air operations in the region.
