US ambassador tells NATO allies to prepare for Russian attack

Matt Whitaker, America's envoy to NATO, cautioned members to prepare for a possible Russian assault on one of the 32 allied nations. Whitaker's warning follows a report claiming leaked US intelligence suggests Russia could launch a limited land or cyberattack within a few years. Whitaker emphasised the need to deter any Russian aggression by being prepared, saying NATO is getting ready daily.
