US airstrike hits ISIS fighters in Puntland region

Islamic State fighters in Somalia's Puntland region were the target of a US airstrike, continuing intensified air operations. The US Africa Command (AFRICOM) stated it carried out the attack on April 17. This occurred in a mountainous zone, roughly 30 miles southeast of Bosaso port city in the Bari area.
