UK's next full solar eclipse is 23 September 2090

The UK just saw its best partial solar eclipse since 1999, with up to 95% of the sun obscured in parts of the West Country. The rare event, visible across Europe, was the most impressive from Britain in nearly three decades. However, the next total solar eclipse won't be visible in the UK for another 66 years.
