UK won't pay Rwanda millions for asylum plan
Millions of pounds will not be disbursed by British taxpayers to Rwanda for the asylum scheme, which Keir Starmer abolished soon after assuming his position. An international court in the Netherlands ruled the UK doesn't owe Rwanda over £100 million, which Rwanda had sought for breaching the agreement. Rwanda had asserted that it incurred substantial expenses in getting ready for the collaboration, an agreement initially finalized by the preceding Conservative administration.
