UK Visa Fees Rise 6-7% From April 8
Many individuals applying for UK visas, including students and workers, will face increased costs from April 2026. The Home Office announced that charges for immigration and nationality applications are slated to increase by 6-7% across most categories, becoming effective on April 8. For instance, a standard visitor visa lasting six months now costs £135, student visa expenses will rise to £558, and the charge for the Electronic Travel Authorisation is £20.
