UK to use Ukraine war data to protect key sites
Britain intends to employ AI models, trained using Ukrainian battlefield information, to deter attacks on UK defence installations, railways, and power stations. The new deal between London and Kyiv also gives private British companies access to the data. The initiative will commence as a pilot at a UK defence location, where AI-enhanced sensors within buried fibre-optic cables will identify various types of motion.
