UK stock markets rise for a fourth straight week as gold miners climb

The FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 indexes both closed higher on Friday, pushing the mid-sized market to its best week since April. Shares in precious metal producers like Fresnillo and Hochschild jumped up to 6%, offsetting nerves about a potential US and Iran peace agreement. Meanwhile, oil giants Shell and BP dropped after crude prices fell on hopes the Strait of Hormuz might reopen.
