UK sees 8 Zika cases, surpassing 2025 total of 7.

Zika and dengue cases have risen in the UK this year, leading to a caution for summer travellers. The UK Health Security Agency urged travellers to use insect repellent, get needed jabs and take malaria tablets. From January to June 2026, eight Zika infections were documented, surpassing the total of seven cases recorded throughout 2025.
