UK publishes new law for tougher Iran sanctions

On Tuesday, new legislation was introduced in Britain to impose more stringent sanctions on Iran, extending trade limitations and the authority to target vessels. The government stated these provisions would curb Iran's entry to the British financial system and widen trade prohibitions on goods, technology, and services. Foreign Office minister Stephen Doughty stated the legislation "doubles down" on efforts to curb Iran's nuclear ambitions.
