UK Police Aware Of Threats To Harry Potter Actor

Hertfordshire Constabulary is in contact with Warner Bros. UK Studio over racist death threats targeting Paapa Essiedu, cast as Professor Severus Snape in HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series. No police report has been filed. Essiedu revealed he has been told "Quit or I'll murder you." The series' first trailer also drew a wave of racist comments online.
