UK, Netherlands ink £2.4B ship deal for NATO forces

Better equipment is set to reach British and Dutch amphibious forces through planned transport ships under a joint agreement. Britain and the Netherlands signed the £2.4 billion ($3.2 billion) maritime deal on Tuesday, the British government said. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the project combines UK industry with Dutch design and seafaring experience while supporting NATO.
